Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a non-invasive, highly effective technology used to scan the ground for buried objects and subsurface features. At Prairie Mapping Industries, we use the Noggin 250 MHz SmartCart GPR, designed for rapid data collection in open areas while maintaining precise results.
Our SmartCart GPR system is equipped with a Global Positioning System (GPS) to ensure highly accurate survey mapping. Additionally, a Digital Video Logger (DVL) allows live data visualization, enabling the detection of anomalies during the survey itself. This feature is particularly valuable for locating buried utilities such as power lines, water lines, sewer lines, pipelines, buried tanks, valves, and manholes.
